This old butcher’s shop, obscure and labyrinthine, had one major selling point: in its center was a square space. We destroyed its roof and transformed it into a patio, making it into the heart and lungs of this house.
We kept the original terrazzo floors, part of the wall ceramics, we spiced up the ceiling beams, and despite the tight budget, managed to make this old shop into a home full of life, art, memories and travels.
